KWK Comic App Work

Hello! Some more catching up today! These stills are a few examples of the work I did for the KWK! Comic app available for Android, iPhone and who knows what else. It’s a great project I was approached for a little over a year ago where you can create your own fun little comics using provided imagery, purchasing kits like mine for more diversity, and using your own photographs! It’s a neat little idea and the kids love it, so if you’ve got any of those, you should take a peek.

It was a very different job, and I have to admit that it was a lot of fun!  I would be open to doing more app work in the future. 🙂

The Magician & The Red Rabbit

MagicianRabbit

One of my most recent gifts for my friend over at Mythic Skies Art. It was a fun experiment, lost of things learned and played with– And he seemed to enjoy it. Onto my Christmas gifts, now!

Halloween Challenge!!!! cont. again

Phew! Been a busy week, can you tell? Anyway, throwing the next few up from the art challenge I’ve been enjoying this month! Here you have Days 13 thru 15. The next set is, sadly, unfinished, but for the sake of catching up after a week of heavy overtime in the real world, they’ll be posted up shortly for you to see.

Remember, if you want to follow these little spot illustrations daily, hop on over to the Simply Kitts Tumblr and +Follow!

A few additional note… I adore my spirits in high spirits, as well as dark parties for albino rats, but this set finally stumped me on the theme “orange”. I’d already done pumpkins, and I didn’t want to draw fruit. As I sat, pondering, I realized that I really wanted orange to be awesome because it’s my current favorite color (you know artists, always finding new favorites!) I looked down at my orange sweater and realized that I would be the best option for Orange. So, viola. You got a weird little self portrait that not only showcases Simply Kitts Illustrations– But Red Rabbit Comics, too 😀 The end!

Halloween Challenge!!! cont.

Today you get four more days from the Halloween Challenge I’ve worked on this month. Day 10 is one of my favorites so far– amusing considering my intense dislike for the eight-legged demons.

Enjoy Days 09 thru 12!

Halloween Challenge!! cont.

Today I bring you four more days of the Halloween Challenge I accepted for the month of October. There’s been some very interesting and very fun imagery to come out of this series… Day 5 was just too hard to resist.

If you want to follow these little guys day-to-day, please +Follow my Tumblr.

Enjoy Days 05 thru 08!

Halloween Challenge!

Well, here’s a small handful of what i’ve been working on this October. I found a list of Halloween words, one for each day of the month, and have been doing my very best to keep up with it! You can follow each day on my Tumblr or continue to wait for me to upload them together at my leisure here on WordPress 🙂

Days 01 thru 04!

A New Sketchbook (To be Sold!)

One of the various ongoing projects of mine, a new sketchbook cover. The nice thing about the Moleskin cashiers journals, besides being able to choose from blank, lined or graph paper– or its nice size– is that the brown of the cover makes the perfect middle ground so both white and black inks really get a chance to shine together.

Eventually, once I figure out an avenue for it other than Etsy.com (It’s become a bit of a monster…), this and the other notebooks I’ve been working on will be going up for sale. With any luck, I’ll also be getting a variety of my cards up as well, so you can cover any holiday in style!

Exploring with INKlings

It’s been awhile since I’ve done much of anything with these guys, and now that I’ve opened an online shop-type-things (at RedBubble.com) I realized that some of these cuties would make awesome stickers and such. So… Here they are all colored and played with. I’m planning to continue working with a selection of the others with a similar intent in mind. This little project of mine has also rekindled my desire to continue working on my INKling sketches. Those will be making an appearance here in a short while!

A New Market?

I’ve been enjoying making these little brown Moleskin illustrations as gifts for friends and think I might try and do a few for selling online.

These here were done with ink and brush, white added in later with white gel pen. They were wonderful and fun and a little bit different! And, best of all, my friends adored them.

Now I need to think of some fun new things to put on a few for selling~
