Finding Dory was CUTE!

No, really, I’ll fight you on this šŸ™‚ As someone who isn’t a fan of the majority of Disney’s sequels, this one might be one of my favorites. They geared it more towards adults, too, with the same amount of cute and plenty of tie-ins to its predecessor. In fact, it might be my favorite sequel… I don’t know, the jury’s still out on that. Monsters U was just SO relatable!

Why does this matter? Well, because it was cute. and as such, it’s my job as an illustrator to showcase something that is that cute! So…. Ta-da!
Finding-Dory-Watercolor

It’sĀ CUDDLE TIME!! Seriously… This movie was too cute, all the annoying-ness aside. It’s worth a watch. šŸ™‚ Why an otter? Well, you obviously haven’t seen the movie then. Hop to it!

The original painting took about 2 hours, and is only 8 x 8 inches! I’m thinking of making it into a print– anyone interested?

The Magician & The Red Rabbit

MagicianRabbit

One of my most recent gifts for my friend over at Mythic Skies Art. It was a fun experiment, lost of things learned and played with– And he seemed to enjoy it. Onto my Christmas gifts, now!

Exploring with INKlings

It’s been awhile since I’ve done much of anything with these guys, and now that I’ve opened an online shop-type-things (at RedBubble.com) I realized that some of these cuties would make awesome stickers and such. So… Here they are all colored and played with. I’m planning to continue working with a selection of the others with a similar intent in mind. This little project of mine has also rekindled my desire to continue working on my INKling sketches. Those will be making an appearance here in a short while!

Ichabod, The Work In Progress

One of my more recent projects. it’s still a work in progress, but it’s also a wonderful little piece to play around with. I’m hoping to make this a promotional/mailer piece, but we’ll see how it goes. The first is the original ink drawing, done with brush and ink. The second is watercolor work done on a print out. It’s been fun, painting again šŸ™‚

Another Set of INKlings!

You can tell my focus as wandered a little bit, but that’s the point of this exercise, right? I’m just relieved to have at least a little bit of art in each day! ā¤ (Except for the one’s I miss– Shhh!)

Enjoy!

Finally time for the chilling of the seasons.

Finally time for the chilling of the seasons.

Can you tell I’m ready for winter?

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything, and I’m sorry for that! I’m working my hardest to keep projects running, and I haven’t done much work that isn’t related to the webcomic I’ve started up or art inspired by fandoms I’ve fallen into. Still, my portfolio needs some work, so it’s high time I got going on some new pieces to keep that up to date and hopefully get some work coming my way. šŸ™‚

Here’s the start of a hopefully productive winter season!

An Update! Woohoo!!

My goodness, it has been awhile! I haven’t forgotten about posting artwork online, I promise! I’ve been terribly busy as of late, however, and haven’t produced anything worth posting about. I’m working to fix that, and have been working away at several long term projects recently. I have a handful of books I’m working at and planning, and have started another side project under a different name that I’m playing a little close to home. Other wise, i’ve been working. A lot.

In the end, however, those are all just excuses and it’s high time I kicked my game back into gear. So, here’s a card. šŸ™‚

No Sharing on Your BirthdayA very dear friend of mine loves her rats, so it seemed fitting to make her an adorable card featuring them. As usual, the colors are a little odd (thank you scanner) but the message comes across well enough. Enjoy!

I’m heading into the biggest birthday month of the year, so there’ll be an influx in cards uploaded to the blog. I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoy making them! šŸ˜€

The Series of Thanks is Completed

And just like that, the series is completed and ready to go.

I’m a little sad to be finished with this fun mini series of cards, since I enjoyed working on them as much as I did. I’ve really done my best this time around, and I feel it comes through clearly.

Alas, it is time to move forward with a new confidence earned from a project well done, and begin tackling the next challenge I’ve designed. šŸ™‚

Onward and Upward!

Thanks for the Phone Call!!

Thanks for the Phone CallAt last!! My series is complete!

All five “Thank You Cards” are done and ready for mocking up at long last, so now it’s off to the printers to get that part done. I’ll show you the finished work once it’s done, but for now I’m excited to move onto my next task!

Star Trek movie pack, here I come!
