They aren’t “super heroes” or even really “super” at all, but you have to have some villains if you’re going to have super heroes. Besides… DC makes some real good villains. I originally made these designs to be hung side by side, too.
That’s it for super bears so far, though I have several more that are still in progress, including the Sub-Mariner and Dr. Strange. 🙂

Hello! Some more catching up today! These stills are a few examples of the work I did for the KWK! Comic app available for Android, iPhone and who knows what else. It’s a great project I was approached for a little over a year ago where you can create your own fun little comics using provided imagery, purchasing kits like mine for more diversity, and using your own photographs! It’s a neat little idea and the kids love it, so if you’ve got any of those, you should take a peek.
It was a very different job, and I have to admit that it was a lot of fun! I would be open to doing more app work in the future. 🙂
Wow, that is a long time… But, it’s time to start doing better 🙂 For anyone wondering what’s been going on lately, it’s a lot of shenanigans, but also a little bit of art. Since graduating school I haven’t done much, but I am trying. I’ll get there eventually! My (secretly kept) comic is still up and running, you can visit it and join the adventures of the mischievous twins, Tirnen and Trenton, if you’re into that sort of thing. It’s been taking up a lot of my “arting” time, but I have gotten a few pieces up and in the making.
The big announcement I get to make soon is that I’ll (hopefully) have a shop selling prints of my creative little cuties and hope everyone will pass it around at that point in time. 🙂
This is just a quick note, but I’ll post up some things I’ve got going in the next few days.
Yes, folks– Kitt is still alive! Thanks for hanging around.
Like every artist, I have a variety of projects I’ve been working on as of late. Three different book projects, plus a comic book/webcomic and an illustrated quilt. I don’t have much time to work on any one for very long, but I wanted to toss a few little snippets up here to kind of show everyone that I’ve been working hard and am, of coarse, still trying to work my way into the world.
The first four snapshots are of a pair of posters I’ve been working over for my webcomic, Tricks, Twins & Thieves, to get the ball rolling on possible merchandising material for the future. Each original drawing is 11×17 inches, and they will be colored eventually! The bottom two shots are little illustrations for a poem/book “This Is A Poem For You”. It’s a personal venture and will be kept between me and the one who wrote it (most likely) but I’m putting a fair bit of effort into it and look forward to showing it to everyone else once it’s complete!
