There Is Always Time To Play Poster

Time to play copy.jpg

Such fun! This was a piece I did for my brother as both a birthday and Christmas gift, I believe. Mind you, his birthday is in JULY. Obviously, it took forever to try and get finished, but the end product was worth the wait. All the text is hand drawn around the playtime-ready Dalmatian at the center.

Have to admit, the hardest and funnest projects I take on are those for family and friends. With all those inside jokes and stories from 20+ years of being together, it’s difficult to pick out the ones that would make sense thrown together in a single image. I eventually managed to combine a little splash of myself along with plenty of him into a piece that was very well received.

Even if it is very yellow.

Best In Show – Work In Progress

Best In Show WIP

A delightful little Work In Progress my father helped title for me. Just a silly little something I look forward to turning into a poster once it’s colored and ready to go! Who doesn’t love a line of prancing poodles?

note: So everyone knows, since this photo is smaller than the original for copyright/protective reasons, the mouse at the end has a cotton ball on its tail and an upside-down bottle cap for a crown!

Another Set of INKlings!

You can tell my focus as wandered a little bit, but that’s the point of this exercise, right? I’m just relieved to have at least a little bit of art in each day! ❤ (Except for the one’s I miss– Shhh!)

Enjoy!
