Finding Dory was CUTE!

No, really, I’ll fight you on this šŸ™‚ As someone who isn’t a fan of the majority of Disney’s sequels, this one might be one of my favorites. They geared it more towards adults, too, with the same amount of cute and plenty of tie-ins to its predecessor. In fact, it might be my favorite sequel… I don’t know, the jury’s still out on that. Monsters U was just SO relatable!

Why does this matter? Well, because it was cute. and as such, it’s my job as an illustrator to showcase something that is that cute! So…. Ta-da!

It’sĀ CUDDLE TIME!! Seriously… This movie was too cute, all the annoying-ness aside. It’s worth a watch. šŸ™‚ Why an otter? Well, you obviously haven’t seen the movie then. Hop to it!

The original painting took about 2 hours, and is only 8 x 8 inches! I’m thinking of making it into a print– anyone interested?

Something Exciting and New

Like every artist, I have a variety of projects I’ve been working on as of late. Three different book projects, plus a comic book/webcomic and an illustrated quilt. I don’t have much time to work on any one for very long, but I wanted to toss a few little snippets up here to kind of show everyone that I’ve been working hard and am, of coarse, still trying to work my way into the world.

The first four snapshots are of a pair of posters I’ve been working over for my webcomic, Tricks, Twins & Thieves, to get the ball rolling on possible merchandising material for the future. Each original drawing is 11×17 inches, and they will be colored eventually! The bottom two shots are little illustrations for a poem/book “This Is A Poem For You”. It’s a personal venture and will be kept between me and the one who wrote it (most likely) but I’m putting a fair bit of effort into it and look forward to showing it to everyone else once it’s complete!
