Music Concept Sketches

Now that Don Quixote is just about complete, it was time to move onto idea number two. I had decided in January to do “Music Through the Ages”, focusing on a variety of tshirt designs and a poster primarily. I find it interesting that, while music has progressed, from LPs to Cassettes to CDs to MP3s, it has started returning to LPs as their popularity has been re-discovered. The concept is that each of the four characters is listening to the next evolution in music, until you get to the MP3 player-person, who’s headphones’ cord will wrap all the way around the back of the tshirt and connect into the back of the turntable on the other side of the shirt. By the end of this, I’ll not only have a neat poster, but five tshirts– one with all four and one for each select person.

Anyway, these are the sketches. It has already moved into finalization, so I’ll have pictures of that up before long. 🙂

Don Quixote meets Windrose Armoury in celebration of their 20th Anniversary!

I created a handful of concepts for them to take a look at once the illustration was complete, including posters and a banner for their website.

Congratulations, Mom and Dad, on 20 years of hard work and good memories. 🙂
